Off to Taebek Mountain, Korea

January 24, 2011

I will be leaving Seoul again for another conference, dubbed as the Global Culture Youth Camp to be attended by 200 select international students in Korea and 200 other Korean university students. The event which will happen in O2 Resort in Taebek, Gangwondo Province will start tomorrow and end on the 27th. This is really one of the most amazing rewards of being a student in Seoul- getting opportunities to attend youth camps or international conferences for free!

The Camp will of course be about culture. Korea is going to showcase itself again to international students while we, international students will get the chance to introduce our own cultures to all participants. ----I badly need a new backpack. I need a sponsor for that! LOL.

By the way, Taebaek is a mountain range that includes Seorak Mountain featured in this blog last November. Taebaek is a long stretch of mountain range from South to North Korea. For this camp, I am going to Taebaek City, in a huge resort that is Golf Course in the summer and Ski Resort in the winter. Exciting!

Ski. Nice. Exploring Korea has been in my bucket list for quite sometime now. I hope to go there next year.

I've been an avid reader of your site Jepoi. Thanks to your site, it made me create my own travel and food blog as well. Keep on writing and blogging.

By the way, congrats on your new MacBook Air. You really deserved it. Kudos!
